WV Rwanda is committed to the implementation of a strategy that promotes sustainability, puts ownership of beneficiaries at the Centre of all activities, and empowers all stakeholders to serve children and address their needs through Resilience & livelihood, WASH, Health, Child Protection & Education technical programmes.

WV Rwanda’s Education and child protection Technical Programme (TP) is a five-year programme designed to be implemented from October 2020 to September 2025 “To contribute to improved child protection and literacy levels for children by 2025”.

Child protection focuses mainly on systems strengthening to ensure prevention, reporting & referral mechanisms are practiced while education focuses on the promotion of literacy at early grade levels.
