The Women’s Bakery offers women access—access to business education, life skills, and applied baking and nutrition skills. From this, social and economic empowerment’s are born. That’s conscious capitalism.
The Women’s Bakery is a service provider for business education, bakery models, and affordable, nutritious breads. Today, we’re working with women in Rwanda and Tanzania.
On the ground, our field staff provide women with training and support to build their own for-profit businesses. These businesses are independently operated by and for the women. Groups invest in a training fee and appropriate start-up costs. Once in business, all profits are their own.
