All forms of human poverty ended worldwide

Purpose

Together we follow God’s call responding to human suffering and graduating communities from extreme poverty.

Food for the Hungry began its work in Rwanda in 1994 as a relief response to the poverty and human suffering caused by the genocide against the Tutsi. Over the years, FH Rwanda’s work evolved from an emergency response to a reconstruction and development program as the country gradually returned to stability.  Currently, FH Rwanda is putting efforts on long-term development interventions in livelihoods, education, health and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) in all its operations areas.  FH Association Rwanda walks with Churches, leaders, and families in overcoming all forms of human poverty by living in healthy relationship with God and His Creation.
